Writing has been apart of my everyday life since the first time I picked up a pen. I use to journal everything no matter if it was good, bad, or indifferent. It helped me accept myself and being I had no privacy, most of my things were read against my wanting it to be.
This made me feel artistically exposed which in turn helped me in the long run. I began to say exactly what I meant and not giving a damn who read it. What I learned early is, if someone doesn't know you, they could never voice how you feel.
That means that someone could read all your things and still never embody the energy that you created with your words. Based on limited perceptions people try to interpret words through their own eyes and that's where the mistakes are made.
If your purpose when reading someone's work is to judge or juror, then you already lost.
Writing is an experience and not everyone has the gift to draw people in so deep, that they only see what the writer is trying to convey.
It is my gift that keeps on giving and I have been blessed enough to find my voice, and share it with the world.
My message to those looking to pursue their craft is..
Pray without Ceasing

Never Let A Day Pass Without Practice
